Whether you would like to attend an ongoing painting class, or even arrange a fun, relaxed workshop for adults or children, Sunrise Studios can help. All classes are taught privately, and mostly one on one to ensure specialized attention for every student. Most of our classes take place in our studio, but some can be arranged to be taught at a location conveinent for your needs. Prices vary and new classes start all the time. Couples Classes
Painting For Couples
This is a class designed for couples seeking something new to do together. In this class, the students will be instructed how to paint anything they desire step by step. Bring a photo reference of you favorite painting, character, landscape etc. or pick an image from our gallery. No skills are required. You are encouraged to bring your own refreshments, such as your favorite wine and cheese! (Ages 16+) 2-3 Hours - $60/Couple
Make A Candle With Your Cutie
Get creative with your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend! In this course you will learn to create your own scented candle! Learn how to create your own scent, design and colors for your own special candle that's unique to you. Take a look at our gallery for ideas!

Crafting With Besties
Paint With Your Bestfriend
This is a class designed for a group of 2-3 friends looking for something fun to do together. In this class, the students will be instructed how to paint anything they desire step by step. Bring a photo reference of you favorite painting, character, landscape etc. or pick something out of our gallery. No skills are required.

Create Candles With Your Bestie
Get creative with your bestie! In this course you will learn to create your own scented candle! Learn how to create your own scent, design and colors for your own special candle that's unique to you. Bring your own jar or check out our gallery for ideas! Availiable in small groups of 2-3.

Paint Your Favorite Character With A Friend
Have fun while learning to create you favorite cartoon character with your best friend! Students will pick their favorite cartoon, such as Cinderella, Nemo, Spider Man, Ninja Turtles, etc. and will learn, step by step, how to bring them to life on paper. Finished work will be framed and sent home so you can hang it in your favorite place. Availiable in small groups of 2-3.

Group Parties
Have a group of friends or family members looking for something fun to do together? Sunrise Studios does At Home/Group Parties! All of the courses above are avaliable for you and your friends for your own art party. Group Art Parties are a new and unique experience for you and your friends that will never get old. Parties are avaliable for kids birthdays, couples, coworkers, friends, etc. Our instructor will come to a location of your choosing and do all the work for you, while you relax and have a great time while enjoying the company. We require a minimum of 4 students per party, but we do not set a limit on how many people we will accept. We encourage that you bring your own refreshements such as wine, juice, fruit, cheese, appetizers, etc. You take care of the people, and we take care of of everything else! Call for more information!

Private Art Lessons
Work at your own pace with personalized attention from a professional artist. These lessons are individually designed to each student's interests, skill level and goals. All skill levels are welcome. Students can choose to receive instruction in Painting, Encaustic Painting, and more coming soon.Small groups are also available for siblings or friends, call for more info. This class is designed for artists of all skill levels and ages looking to improve on their artistic abilities. Sunrise Studios will provide a relaxed, pressure free environment students will feel comfortable working in. Each session will be created around the student's personal needs and goal with personalized, one on one attention. Small groups are also available for siblings or friends, call for more info. Hands-on Art History For Homeschoolers
The arts are vital to providing a well-rounded education. Sunrise Studios will provide a unique art experience for you home-schooled child. Students will learn about art throughout history, modern art and art around the world while being exposed to multiple mediums such as, painting, clay, weaving, encaustic, watercolor and more. Every week we will learn about a new subject and create art incorporating the techniques and or subject matter. 2 - 3 spots available per class or private by request.

Becoming A Master Artist
In this class students will be challenged with learning the more advanced mechanics involved in the arts. They will learn a more specific process such as lines, shadows, shading, shapes, prospective, and color theory. Small groups are avaliable for siblings.

Landscape and Still-Life
This course is designed for the student who wishes to work in varied subject genres. You may work from instructor created still life set ups in the studio, set up your own still life or work from photo/visual reference on still life or landscape subjects. You will learn to create dynamic paintings and develop a personal painting style. The fundamentals of good composition, color and value will be stressed. Demonstrations and critique will be part of the teaching process. Students are welcome to bring their own supplies and references. This course is available one on one or with another student at a cheaper rate.
(Ages 14+) 3 Hours $40/Private $30/Non-Private
Learn To Paint
This course is for the beginner painter. We will cover what considerations to make when purchasing paints, simple ides for a strong composition, creating through light and shadow and the many ways paint can be applied. Students will learn to work with translucent layering. Dry brush, wash and glazing techniques will be explored as well as using mediums for special effects and textures. Learn about color contrasts and how they can be used in creating dynamic paintings. Basic drawing skills are helpful but the instructor is more then willing to help with and sketching challenges.

All About Encaustic Painting
In this course, students will be introduced to the encaustic medium. Not only will students learn about the history of encaustic painting, but also how to utilize this unique medium. We will cover what considerations to make when purchasing materials, ideas for a strong composition, creating through light and shadow and the many ways encaustic paint can be applied. We will cover various techniques and tools used in creating various effects and textures.

Inkle Weaving
Inkle bands are narrow fabrics that can be used as straps, belts, etc. In this class, students will learn inkle loom weaving by creating their own piece. Bring your own string with your favorite colors or use what we have avaliable. Check out our gallery for ideas!
